‘Figuring Out How To Be At Home’ Podcast

Figuring Out How To Be At Home, with Twelfth Day’ is a podcast looking at how musicians are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our industry. Each episode we discuss a topic within the context of the pandemic, and hear from three different musicians from around the world on how it’s affected the way they work. It’s a space for folks to share connections, strategies, inspirations or just funny tales of over ambitious home bakes or fiery family zoom quizzes. Join us!

Support the podcast

With live concerts on an extended hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and with no idea when we’ll be able to get back to it, we’ve decided to create a PATREON PAGE.

This is where you can become patrons of all of our creative output and fully fledged members of the Twelfth Day inner sanctum! You’ll be helping us continue to create new music, play live and develop our podcast ‘Figuring Out How To Be At Home’.  As a patron you’ll get monthly live online concerts and listening parties, as well as early access to new music and behind-the-scenes content.

Beyond COVID, we hope to build our Patreon up to become a big part of the way we create into the future. Patreon allows you to support your favourite creatives directly, and is a lovely space to collaborate and communicate with the folks who care about our art. HURRAH!

Happy New Year! We can’t wait to get back out on the road and play for you all.

We’ll be kicking the year off with a bang at the superb Celtic Connections in just a few weeks time, where we’ll be performing as an extended line-up with our new band! After that, the two of us will be heading over to Edinburgh’s International Harp Festival in April, followed by a tour across Edinburgh, London, Leeds, and Whitehaven later that month. Hope to see you there!

Head to the gigs page for more info and tickets.

New album – Cracks In The Room

Exciting times ahead – we’ve almost finished our new album!
“Cracks In The Room” has been produced by the wonderful Chris Wood and mixed in the USA by legendary engineer Oz Fritz. We’re asking if you’d like to get involved and help us get it out into the world!
We’ve made a Kickstarter page where you can pre-order your advance copy, or check out the other rewards we’ve created. Have a look at the video for more info.
It’s been an amazing journey over the past year. We are so eager to share this music with you!
Love, Catriona and Esther
